Q. Should I push RCA connectors all the way in when connecting them to the amplifier?

A. RCA connectors are precisely crafted with CNC, so they may feel a bit tight when initially connecting them to the amplifier or extension cables. There's nothing wrong with the product, so please push them all the way in for a proper connection. If they are not fully inserted, the playback volume may be low, so in such cases, please ensure that the RCA connectors are securely connected to the amplifier.

 

Q. When using SLASH,

the connection with Bluetooth is not working well. What should I do?

A. SLASH is a 1:1 channel, so if you are already connected to another device, there may be no signal. Please press the LED (MFB button) on the back of SLASH. You can reset it automatically and use the SLASH and Bluetooth connection.

 

Q. Is there a way to optimize it with SLASH and listen to sound quality?

A. After connecting to Bluetooth, it is recommended to set the maximum volume on the device and then adjust the volume to your liking in the amplifier.

 

Q. If the smartphone volume is maximum, the sound is strange.

A. If the output is larger than the input of the amp and speaker, lower the volume of your smartphone and adjust the volume of the amp and speaker to use it

 

Q. Do I need to charge a SLASH?

A. Charging is not required and it is always recommended to connect to an external power source. There is no problem with the instrument because it uses very little current.

 

Q.What type of DC adapter should I use?

A. Slash is carefully designed to accommodate various types of adapters. You can conveniently use a variety of adapters to make the most of your Slash experience. The recommended power adapter is 5V 1A.

 

Q. Can I connect to a vacuum tube amplifier, preamplifier, or old analog amplifier?

A. Yes, it can be connected to any smart device.

 

Q. Do I have to connect every time I use SLASH?

A. SLASH automatically connects the last connected device. It is recommended that you always stay connected.

 

Q. One side only makes sound. There is noise only from one side. The sound is strange from one side.

To fix this problem, follow these steps.

- Connect SLASH3/6 to RCA output (left and right output) in reverse.

-For example, if the right side did not make sound, check if the left side does not make sound now.

-If this is the case, get A/S inspection.

-If the right side still does not make sound, check the amp, speaker, and cable.

 

Q. If you have trouble connecting your SLASH3/6 to your smartphone via Bluetooth

- Press and hold the MFB (LED button) on the back of your SLASH3/6 for more than 1 second.

- Wait until the blue LED flashes once per second.

- On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and disconnect or unregister the existing SLASH3/6.

- On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and re-search or find SLASH3/6 and register it again.

- If the connection is successful, you will see the green LED flash three times and repeat every 2 seconds.

 

Q. If the unit does not power on

- Check the adapter's functionality. Try using a different adapter and see if the device powers on. If it does, replace the faulty adapter.

- Try using different USB C-type cables and see if the device powers on. If it does, use a new USB C cable.

- Ensure the device is not overheated. If you notice excessive heat or smell of burning, unplug the power immediately and contact the service center for assistance.

 

Q. If you have connected your SLASH3/6 to your smartphone but you cannot hear any sound

- Increase the volume level on your smartphone. This will not affect the sound quality even at the maximum level.

- Make sure that the amp, speaker, or other device that you are using has the correct input source selected for the SLASH3/6.

- Adjust the volume of the amp and speaker to a suitable level.

- Restart your smartphone and reconnect the SLASH3/6.

Q. Are all SLASH products manufactured in Korea?

A. Yes, all SLASH products are processed in Korea from production to assembly and packaging. In addition, both inspection and testing are carried out in detail by our staff.

Q. I want to change my order.

A. Once an order has been placed, you cannot change the order. Therefore, if you wish to cancel your order, please contact our customer service center. After that, if we cancel your order, you can reorder again. However, if the product has already been shipped before we confirm the cancellation request, we cannot guarantee the order cancellation in this case.

 

Q. Can I know when an out of stock will be restocked?

A. For products that are out of stock, please request a restocking notification on the product page and we will notify you of restocking by email.

Q. I am an international customer. Do I have to pay duty and VAT?

A. Customers may be required to pay customs duties and/or sales tax depending on the country and region to which the product is shipped. All customs duties and sales tax are the responsibility of the customer. DO is not responsible for any customs duties and sales tax. Q. Do you ship internationally?

A. Yes, we do international delivery via Fedex couriers.

 


Q. How much is the shipping cost?

A. Shipping costs vary by country and region, so you can check them by entering your address on the payment page.   

Q. How long does it take to ship after ordering?

A. For US and Europe we ship products from Monday to Friday US time. (Excluding holidays) Orders before 15:00 EST will be shipped the same day. However, orders after 15:00 on Friday will be shipped on Monday.

For Asia,Oceania and Africa we ship products from Monday to Friday Korean time. (Excluding Korean holidays) Orders before 15:00 GMT will be shipped the same day. However, orders after 15:00 on Friday will be shipped on Monday.

 

Q. How long does delivery take?

A. It depends on the option you choose when ordering.

 

Q. Package could not be found.

A. If the package is lost during transportation, please contact our customer service. If the courier is displayed as 'delivered' please contact with the courier. If you choose a courier option that does not require a signature, we are not responsible for lost packages.

Q. What is your return policy?

A. In case of return, shipping charges will be borne by the consumer. We accept returns only for unopened and unused products with labels. Returns must arrive at our office within 30 days of delivery at the time of purchase. If you wish to proceed, please contact us by email by entering your order number and email address. If your return is approved, you will be picked up by the courier. When we receive the returned product, we will inform you of the progress.

 


Q. I received a defective product.

A. If you receive a defective product, we will pay the courier fee and exchange only the same product.

Q. Can I return/exchange products purchased during Final Sale?

A. Products purchased during Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged. However, if you receive a defective product, we will exchange only the same product.

Q. Which product has better sound quality?

A. The sound quality gets better as the higher number of the model number of the product increases. We recommend the SLASH6 product if you are using it on a device with high-end products.

 

Q. Is it possible to connect to an analog amplifier?

Q. Can SLASH pair two devices at the same time?

A. SLASH connects only one device.

 


Q. Can I set a password for SLASH?

A. SLASH does not have a password setting function. However, another smart device cannot be connected while one device is linked.

 


Q. I can't pair with SLASH.

A. SLASH is a 1:1 channel, so if it is already connected to another device, there may be no signal. Turn off nearby Bluetooth devices and try again.

 

Q. When using SLASH, the connection with Bluetooth is not working well. What should I do?

A. If the connection suddenly fails, you can try pairing again by pressing the multi-function button for 1 second. Nevertheless, if you have any problems, please contact customer service.

 

Q. Is SLASH a product that needs charging?

A. Charging is not necessary, and you can always use it by connecting to an external power source. The product is shipped with a USB C type and an adapter.

 

Q. Can SLASH use TV/CDP optical connection?

A. SLASH supports optical connection. You can use it by connecting the No. 3 optical cable.

 

Q. What is your warranty?

A. The product can be repaired free of charge for one year from the date the product is delivered. Consumers only pay for round-trip shipping. However, if a problem occurs within 30 days from the date the product is delivered, we will repair it free and you don’t have to pay any shipping.

Q. How much mm should the RCA spacing be in order to connect SLASH products directly to the amplifier?

A. Direct coupling is possible when the RCA is 14mm (1.4cm) apart.

 

Q. How can I connect to the amplifier if the RCA spacing is not 14mm (1.4mm)?

A. If the RCA spacing does not match, you can connect it using #1 extension cable (RCA female to RCA male cable).

 

Q. I want to build a wireless audio system in my business. Will the Bluetooth connection work smoothly even if I put it inside a plaster ceiling or in a box?

A. There is no problem if you put it inside the box, but if you use it inside the sheet-rock board ceiling, the distance will be shortened. For reference, customers who use sheet-rock board are using it without any problems.

 

[Vehicle use]

 

Q. Q: Is it usable in vehicles with an AUX jack?

A. It is usable in vehicles with AUX or DSP with optical input. We recommend SLASH4.

  

Q. Is it possible to plug them into USB using a conversion cable for vehicles without AUX?

A. Unfortunately, it cannot be used with USB.

 

Q. How will the sound quality change when installed in a vehicle?

A. You can enjoy music with high-quality Bluetooth that is more satisfying than genuine car audio or tuning audio.

 

Q. Which model should I choose when using in a vehicle?

A. When installed in a vehicle, noise may be generated due to the influence of vehicle power noise. Therefore, it is recommended to use the SLASH4 product with built-in noise filter.

Q. It's been a while since I didn't use RCA behind the amp.

A. In that case, it is better to use after cleaning with a cotton swab.

 

Q. The RCA behind the amplifier is malfunctioning, causing noise or no sound.

A. In that case, you can connect it to the empty terminal next to it.

 

Q. I am using SLASH directly connected to the amplifier, but there is no sound.

A. When connecting SLASH to the amplifier, you must connect it all the way. There is no sound if it is inserted only halfway.
