Q: How can I identify the left and right RCA connectors?

A: The right RCA connector is usually
marked with red. Inside the plug, the red indicates the right channel, and the
left is typically marked with white or black.

Q: Should I fully insert RCA connectors when connecting them to the amplifier?

A: Yes, make sure the RCA connectors are fully inserted. SLASH’s connectors are precisely made, so they may feel tight at first. A loose connection can result in low sound, so double-check if the volume is too low.

Q: I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth connection on SLASH. What should I do?

A: SLASH supports 1:1 Bluetooth pairing. If it's already connected to another device, reset the connection by pressing the MFB button on the back of SLASH. This will allow you to reconnect your device.

Q: How can I get the best sound quality with SLASH?

A: After pairing via Bluetooth, set your device's volume to maximum. Then, adjust the amplifier’s volume to your preferred level.

Q: Can SLASH3 be used as a standalone DAC?

A: SLASH3 functions only as a Bluetooth DAC and cannot be used as a standalone DAC. If you need both Bluetooth and USB DAC capabilities, consider upgrading to the SLASH6 model.

A: No, SLASH automatically reconnects to the last paired device. We recommend keeping it powered for convenience.

Q: Can I play music directly from USB on SLASH?

A: No, SLASH does not have a built-in playback function. To enjoy high-quality sound, connect the USB to a playback-capable device, such as a laptop or PC, and use the SLASH6 as a USB DAC without any additional setup. (Ensure that the amplifier is connected to the SLASH6.) Connect the included high-quality USB-C cable, which supports both power and data transfer, to the SLASH6's power port.

Q: Can it connect to devices without Bluetooth?

A: Yes, it can! You can connect it to an amplifier without Bluetooth or use it to upgrade the sound quality of an existing Bluetooth connection. Just connect, and enjoy high-quality sound right away.

Q: Does it maintain a stable connection when the device is out of sight?

A: If placed in an enclosed space, the Bluetooth connection may become unstable. For the best high-quality playback without interruptions, it’s recommended to use it in an open space where wireless interference is minimized.

Q. What should I do if the LED power light does not turn on?

A. First, check if the USB power source is functioning properly. If you're using a car cigarette lighter adapter, try switching to a different USB power source, as the adapter itself could be the issue.

Q. The LED power light is on, and the AUX cable is connected, but there’s no sound. What should I do?

A. Make sure the AUX cable is fully inserted into the Slash4. You should hear a "click" sound when the cable is properly connected. If it's not fully inserted, the LED may light up, but no sound will play.

Q. How do I use the reset button?

A. While the power is on, press the reset button once briefly. Avoid holding it down for too long.

Q. Are there any compatibility issues with car models?

A. SLASH4 is compatible with any car that has a working AUX port, offering noticeably improved Bluetooth sound quality. Please note that SLASH4 may not work with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. For the best audio experience, we recommend using SLASH4 as a standalone device.

A. Setup is very straightforward. Simply connect the included 3.5mm cable to your car’s AUX port and to the SLASH4, connect the USB for power, and pair SLASH4 with Bluetooth on your phone. You’re ready to play music!

A. Use the included optical cable. First, connect Slash4 to a USB power source, such as a power adapter, portable battery, PC, or laptop. Then, connect one end of the optical cable to the 3.5mm optical output on Slash4, and the other end to the optical input on your amplifier. On your amplifier, select the optical input, pair Slash4 with your Bluetooth device, and start playing music. Q: Will there be latency when connecting SLASH-T to a receiver that supports aptX Adaptive?

A: SLASH-T prioritizes high audio quality and will automatically connect via aptX Adaptive. In Bluetooth headsets that support both aptX Adaptive and aptX Low Latency, you may experience slight latency with aptX Adaptive due to the higher data transmission required for superior sound quality. If you prefer low latency, we recommend using SBC or aptX codecs.

Q: When does aptX Low Latency work?

A: aptX Low Latency only works when both the transmitter and the receiver support this feature. If only one device supports it, aptX Low Latency will not be activated. Please ensure that both your transmitter and receiver are compatible with aptX Low Latency for optimal performance.

Q. Are there any compatibility issues with specific TV models reported?

A. SLASH-T is compatible with any TV that has an optical output. Simply connect the TV’s optical output to the SLASH-T’s 3.5mm optical input, connect the USB for power, and pair with your headphones.
