Q1: Which SLASH model is right for my audio setup?

Select the ideal model tailored to your system's connectivity and target audio performance:

• SLASH 2 [Entry Home Stereo]: Clean and straightforward wireless streaming with direct RCA plugs for standard home audio.

• SLASH 3 [Home Audio Best Seller]: Upgraded home stereo DAC featuring high-resolution LDAC and high-purity copper RCA connectors.

• SLASH 4 [In-Car & DSP Optimized]: Engineered with advanced power noise isolation for vehicle AUX and car audio/DSP optical connections.

• SLASH 5 [Hybrid Car & Home]: Built-in noise filter with dedicated AUX In and headphone output for clean, versatile listening anywhere.

• SLASH 6 [All-in-One Premium]: Ground loop noise isolation featuring USB DAC, Optical In/Out, and headphone amp for desktop PC-Fi and home systems.

• SLASH 7 [High-Res Desktop]: Ultra-low-noise analog architecture and versatile I/O designed to anchor desktop setups and living room Hi-Fi.

• SLASH 8 [Flagship Reference]: Flagship studio-grade DAC with 4.4mm balanced output, Coaxial out, Optical In/Out, and reference USB DAC.

• SLASH-T [Wireless Transmitter]: Ultra-low-latency Hi-Res audio transmitter connecting TV and PC sources directly to wireless headphones and receivers.

Q2: Do I need separate audio cables to connect SLASH to my amplifier?

No separate cables are required.

SLASH DACs are engineered with integrated 24K gold-plated RCA plugs that connect directly into your amplifier or receiver's inputs. This direct-plug design eliminates cable clutter and prevents any signal degradation caused by extra cabling.

• Note: If your amplifier features deeply recessed RCA jacks or non-standard spacing between channels, you can easily use our dedicated RCA extension cables or adapters available in the CABLE menu above.

Q3: Does SLASH support high-resolution codecs like LDAC?

Yes, comprehensive Hi-Res codec support is built in.

The SLASH premium lineup natively supports industry-leading high-resolution codecs, including Sony LDAC, Qualcomm aptX Adaptive / aptX HD, and AAC. By minimizing wireless compression loss, it flawlessly reproduces studio-grade sound up to 24-bit/96kHz over Bluetooth.

• Automatic Optimization: Your smartphone, tablet, or PC will automatically detect and stream at the highest compatible bitrate supported by your playback device.
